I was on the fence about spending this money but there's no way I'm going to be out $860+ for something that I won't see for 6 weeks. Can anyone confirm or deny shipping estimate?

sabregenYea, that's the only drawback, is the shipping time. You get the monitor with 3 year warranty (instead of 1 year), and save $150 from everyone else's price, but you have to wait for LG to make it and ship it. The first drop even got delayed further because 180 people ordered and LG had to break that into 2 shipments.

SupermoistOn a sub-$100 item it makes no difference. On a (nearing) $900 screen it's a different story. Thanks for the response.
