I have got Samsung N950 Atmos enabled. I must say ATMOS is all hype. At least with soundbars it is true. For regular 5.1 Samsung speakers are best. If you want ATMOS then I think go for real ATMOS setup (ceiling speakers) etc.
For anyone else confused after receiving their sound bar and making sure the firmware was up to date:the center channel control won't show up in the LG wi-fi Speaker app (at least in iOS). It can be controlled by the remote that comes with the sound bar, or on the bar itself, though. It took me several weeks to discover this, as I'd just been using the app on my phone to adjust the speakers assuming that you could control all the settings from it. I didn't find this info anywhere else on the web, and just finally figured it out by chance. LG updated their iOS app last month, and the center channel adjustments show up there now too.
Once I was able to bump up the center channel audio, it's made a world of difference.
Cdejesus1119@Cdejesus1119 There seems to be all sorts of mixed/conflicting information about Samsung's support for Atmos on their 2017 TVs. The Q9 seems to have. The Q7 might have it for some of the built-in apps? I don't have a Vudu account to try out, and only really use Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YoutubeTV. I know that Netflix simply doesn't support Atmos on Samsung's platform - at least not yet (only LG tvs natively). I've heard conflicting things about Prime. But I don't see an Atmos indicator on things that should have it, like Jack Ryan. YoutubeTV doesn't really tell you much about what audio is going to be output.
My speakers came slightly scratched okay not a problem. Set up was a bit of a pain as trying to pair the speakers to wifi does not work. The specs says it is compatible with 5ghz band dont think so. After setting it up the top speakers occasionally crackle and produce static noise. Contacted LG sending it in for repairs now.
Edit: Sent it back and forth for repairs 4 times now for the same problem. LG refuses to replace it with a new unit. Have been able to use since buying in Nov of 2018. It is now March of 2019
Got mine, and just a big disappointment with ApTV4k - apple said that LG soundbar does not support apples container for Dolby Atmos. My bar sometimes worked and sometimes not. I called LG and they asked me to send it in for repairs. They know has an issue with the motherboard. I waited 2 weeks for the box and nothing. They had it as NO warranty - I was wondering if its was a B, or C model. I explained that I got it from here and 3 weeks later the box came. I had reach massdrop customer service and got a label to send it back .... long story short KEEP THE BOX. I haven't got my refund yet ... good luck.
Btw - I got the SPK8-S and have no use. make me an offer
kmeesalWorks for me, as of this post. Add it to your cart, then click checkout, the price does not update until you are in the checkout page. This is because the price of 399 is too low to advertise and against LG pricing rules.

This is still active.
However if you read the comments on the link i've just posted, many are unhappy with this soundbar even at $400. One review saying:
"Cancel this soundbar and get Sony sonos with sub if possible. You will not regret your purchase."
Is the rear wireless speaker set (LG SPK8-S) ever going to be available here? Seems like there have been a lot of LG sound bars sold, I imagine a lot of us would want these too.
