I said the folks in your camp will bitch about the price of a product they have no experience with, haven't heard, and know nothing about. They see the sticker price and immediately start complaining. Which, is exactly what you've been doing not once, but twice for the same manufacturer.
I also noted that there are plenty examples of this on other products currently on Drop of people doing EXACTLY this. It's hard to make this shit up when you can go to any page for these products and see it with your own eyes.
The 6XX and 58X threads were an absolute shitshow over a matter of $10-20. Same with any "ChiFi" IEM on Drop as people always bitch and say order from whatever Chinese e-commerce site instead to save ~$5. The Topping products see this all the time too and immediately get cross compared to Amazon/Apos.
My issue is, why should a manufacturer have to take a financial loss to suit anyone? They're a business and they deserve to be properly compensated for their work and product. Let alone, Lime Ears is based in Poland and a very small operation (a couple of guys at minimum; a very small company) so why should they take a hit when financially, it wouldn't make sense?
You yourself purchased an overpriced CIEM from Noble when the K10 is quite old at this point and has sold, new, for as low as $500 on Drop, albeit in universal form. That already tells about its inherit value, yet, this drop is too expensive that has more technology and engineering packed inside? That's the string of logic I don't quite get. Noble literally sold an overpriced product purely on brand name recognition and people fall for that all day and night. And I still own some Noble products but why I no longer own their "TOTL" models. They're pretty, just egregiously overpriced for their FR and technicalities (IMO). Also their customer service and warranty leave a lot to be desired. Be lucky that you never have an issue. They were a nightmare to deal with.
I was probably being a dick prior, so I apologise for that, but considering how bad the budget minded folks complain, it just gets tiring when they have nothing of value to add more than, "I subjectively think this product I know nothing about and haven't heard is too expensive." How is that helpful to actual potential buyers if you haven't even heard the item being offered?
