does this have anything to help it stay over the ear - like some shrinking

DotnubI have this cable (purchased elsewhere, though). There is no shrink tubing or wire to form to an over ear hook or to keep it in place. You would need to utilize the slider.

KarnatApologies. Mine does not have the heat shrink. I purchased this exact same cable directly from Linsoul just prior to the previous listing here. My cable construction is identical to the photos on Drop...a very short piece of clear tubing where the wire enters the MMCX connector, as strain relief, I presume, but no tubing of any type extending beyond 2-3 mm from the MMCX connector. Beyond this strain relief the braid is bare. Again, apologies if I created any confusion.

DotnubNo, it has a small bit of clear heat shrink at the end of the output connectors for strain relief, but nothing to hold a curve for behind ear placement. I believe you can purchase clear heat shrink for this purpose though

zombywoofYou didn't create confusion, you are correct that there is no moldable plastic for ear placement, got on last drop, see image in other reply.

KarnatNot to hold a curve for ear security, the only clear heat shrink is for strain relief. However this cable is very relaxed and will go anywhere you want it to, it won't try to straighten out if you put it behind your ear, it will stay in place.

KarnatThat's....bizarre. From the drop too? I wonder if the 2 pin have them and the mmcx don't, I can't find any pictures confirmed to be the 2 pin, though I feel like there were pictures of it in the previous drop. Oh well, just super weird then. So, to op, I guess it depends what connector you have? Pictures show mmcx, and without the around ear mold loops, but apparently the 2pin does have the ear mold loops.
