Immediate improvement!
Pertinent info: 0.78 2-pin with 3.5mm termination. Fairly light with a tight weave. Dirt & weather-proof. Wonderful case! I going to be honest. I originally ordered these more as a color matching thing for my Clear Tune Monitors VS-3 iem's. I didn't think that any cable would offer significant sound improvement. Boy, was I wrong! These cables immediately gave me better clarity, better soundstage & better imaging. The VS-3's are tuned to give an old school tube-like 60's type of sound. The Nymph cable took some of that away but I'm not mad at it! I'm loving the tightening of the bass response & the bit of extra "air" this cable is providing. The cable does seem to raise the noise floor on my main rig which is a clear indicator of providing more upper frequency energy. I will see if it settles down with any burning in. At this point I would say that this is a wonderful cable but I'd be careful in regards to iem matching. If your iem is already on the bright side, this cable might provide too much energy in those regions. If your iem is on the warmer side of things & you want a bit more air & clarity, this is your cable.

Very impressed for the price
I bought this to see what the graphene coating would do to the sound (if anything). I really like the bulky design, but that's just me - I love the Tin P2 and BGVP DM8 cables too. As for quality and sound, the cable feels great, seems will made (2-pin, 2.5mm plug version) and sounds fantastic too with my 64Audio U12t. It seems to bring the mids forward really nicely - very enjoyable.

Yes, it's bulkier and heavier than my other after-market cables, but they sound great. Pronounced mids and highs though the bass is somewhat recessed. Probably has more to do with my IEMs (FIIO FA9) and DAP (Astell & Kearns Kaan Alpha) than the cable. For a cable less than $100, it can't be beat. Because of its heft, it's not the best option for portable wearing, but for home-listening they are not uncomfortable once you get used to them.

Stout w/ sonic clarity
It is my experience that this cable pairs very nicely with my OnePlus 8 Pro, the TC35B, and the TINHiFi P1's. Already having ordered the TINHiFi P1's, I ordered this just in case the stock cable was an under-performer, like other TINHiFi IEM cables I've experienced. As this was the case, I'm quite happy to have this much more stout, solid, sonically clear cable. A recommended addition to a music lover's kit!

Beware - IPX Connector Defective - Damaged Custom IEMs
My mistake - trying to get a balanced cable to go with my new UE 18+ Custom IEMs and saving a few dollars didn't mix. I received my Linsoul Nymph cable and while I thought it was a bit thick, I didn't plan to run track with it - I usually am at my computer or on a walk using a DAP - I looked at the connectors and they obviously weren't MMCX, so I figured no problem. I installed the cable in my-month old customs - plugged into my Monolith Desktop THX AMP/DAC and turned it up. Almost immediately the 'system protect' notification came on and the sound dropped out. I turned the unit off and back on. At low volume it didn't sound right - add volume and 'system protect' again. Hmmm. I then decided to remove the cable and one of the IPX connectors came apart in my hand. Ugh. This won't do. OK I will return it to Drop. Since the object of the session was to listen to my new custom IEMs, I plugged in the standard 3.5mm cable that came with my headphones. Now I got no audio. No sound. Both sides. I tried the Bluetooth dongle that came with my IEMs. No sound. I took a closer look at the Nymph cable - the IPX connectors aren't exactly like the IPX on my UE cables (one cable with mic, one Bluetooth cable and a regular Linum BAX T2 cable I got from DreamEarz) The Linsoul cable 'probe' or connector was longer and not tapered the same way as all the others. My new 18+ were broken. Nice. I contacted Drop and they offered me a refund or a $20 credit if I wanted to keep the cable. Um, no. Next I email my contact at UE and explain what happened and asked how much it would cost to fix them - this was not UE's problem. I bought a sub par product and that product damaged the headphones. Anyone who says UE doesn't have brilliant customer service is living on a different planet. Customer service said this time they would fix them for free - they gave me a discount code to offset the $99 charge for an out-of-warranty repair. I paid $20 for insured shipping to UE and they paid for Overnight back to me when they were fixed - an amazing 10 days later. I asked Drop to credit me for the shipping I paid to have to ship to UE - that didn't happen. They aren't as customer oriented as UE. When I got my IEMs back yesterday, I emailed my contact again to thank him for his excellent service - explaining that I would now save up for the Linum SuperBax Balanced Cable and not try to find a cheap way out.... Then I got another email back - they are sending me the balanced cable at no charge. Not a cheap cable. I was floored - speechless - and I'm rarely speechless. UE is a great company with brilliant customer service. They have been that way throughout the years I have been paying attention. The Pro people are really pros and they care about their customers. Sorry for the novel - but stay away from the Nymph - even if the connector fit and didn't trash my IEMs - the assembly was poor as the connector fell apart.

A Review of the Tangibles
Instead of pretending I noticed any notable improvement going from the Thieaudio EST cable to this on my Thieaudio Clairvoyance, I'll go over the physical aspects of the cable itself. I only bought these because the EST is so stiff. Oh, and BLING, I guess. Appearance: Exactly like what the photos would suggest: very pretty. Touch & Feel: Smooth and firm but not rubbery. Not the most pliable cable (mostly by virtue of its thickness), but not stiff either. One very important quirk about the Nymph that the photos don't seem to convey well is its sheer girth. This thing is T H I C C. The thickest IEM cable I have ever seen. Weight: Heavy, and very noticeably too. This is the biggest deal breaker (if the price didn't scare you off already). To make things worse, the chin slider is metal, and it swings back & forth while walking, which makes noise. It's heavy to the point where I'm worried about the longevity of the connectors (both on the cable and IEM) because of all the unnecessary strain brought by the extra weight. Cable Noise: Present, but not very noticeable. Now, there are many reasons why a cable would make noise. These make noise because they're so damn heavy (seeing a trend here?). Movement causes chin slider to swing, swinging transfer energy to your IEM, and BAM, noise. It's not loud, but it gets in the way of headbanging, and that's a crime. Comfort: A mixed bag. Oddly enough, the weight doesn't make it so that the ear hooks hurt because the cable is thicker (so better weight distribution). However, to say that my ears aren't being weighted down would be lying. Verdict: there are plenty of good cables out there; ones that don't make you feel like being shackled from your ears downwards. Buy something else.

Ridiculous
Drop cso by the name of David refuse return/refund the product even though there is multiple report saying that the IPX connection would damage the IEM. He indicating that the product is not defective on arrival, does it mean that to prove that the product is defective I will need to plug it in and damage my iem in order to deem it as defective? Which Drop would not take responsibility on the damaged iem as well. Bad after sales service would not recommend Drop to anyone.

Thanks for the suggestions! Will call the bank and see what they say. Luckily this is not a big sum of money imagine the disastrous support if someone brought expensive items over here.

DisappointedcusImagine what I am going thru with briggs and riley luggage! That is a $600 investment and now the company is ignoring all my calls and emails. They have life time warranty! Do not trust Briggs and Riley! They do not honor their life time warranty nor repairs. Just deal with your credit card company. Much easier.

BEWARE!!!
Ordered the IPX/T2 version, and there was a loud pop on insert. Sound was intermittent with the cable, and when I went back to the stock Linum SuperBax cable, there is no sound. The IPX/T2 connection on these is somehow different enough from the standard spec that these WILL break your custom IEM sockets!!!!!!

That’s a real problem. Part of the responsibility of running a business for profit is stepping up when you cause harm to the customer. They should handle it and take it up with Linsoul.

AbazeeshTo be honest, I couldn't understand it. Drop has a relationship with a number of manufacturers - especially Ultimate Ears. They could have got ahead of this, done the right thing and created loyal customers - now it is somewhat obvious what they think of us. We are on our own.

A valid Upgrade of Grey Alo cable of Andromeda 2020
I bought this cable for my Andromeda 2020 a great IEM that with the right fitting is fantastic with great bass, perfect mid and à bit sparkling tremble. Great définition and huge scène. Nymph cable increase bass and cut a little bit very high, giving à all round very rich and heavy sound that i like. Need more power to préserve détail and précision and this can be a problem.
