Sleipner Steel, Single-Piece Aluminum Handle
Designed by Pensato Michelle, also known as “Molleta” to his Italian following, the Lion Steel SR2 Mini is crafted in Maniago, Italy—the City of Knives. It features Sleipner steel that’s hardened to over 60 on the Rockwell scale for superior edge retention. The single-piece handle is strong and lightweight thanks to its aluminum construction. Vertical ribbing gives it a modern look and adds texture for an easier grip. The blade deploys manually, perhaps because of the designer’s traditional roots. Use the thumbstuds to rotate it open and it will lock with the aluminum frame. The clip, which doubles as a glass breaker, supports tip-up carry on either side. Switch it with the included adjustment tool.
