Newegg has this for $119 with free shipping and no wait time. Come on Massdrop... if you're going to offer a "deal", you should at least make it cheaper than I can get from a vendor where I don't have to wait for a month to get it. Really disappointed in the drops lately.
P.S. The MKIII is $219 from Newegg for those interested.
Just saw Newegg's price and free shipping, but products are shipped from China and I have to wait for 2 weeks. And I guess return defect product can be big issue if seller is in China?
Looks like the one from Newegg is 220v... Otherwise I'd definitely ditch this drop :(
Last time I ordered from this seller, I received my item in less than a week but I did see that it can take up to 18 days. Newegg has a marketplace guarantee as well but I've never had to use it so unfortunately I can't attest to it.
OK thanks for your information. So I place order today on Newegg it still faster than from Massdrop...
I guess Massdrop and Newegg's little dot product are same, but Newegg's MK3 is listed as 228V x 0.13A (instead of 110 or 115V) so do you have any issue when you use your amp?? Thank you.
Same question, checked Newegg , MK2 has no info about voltage, MK3 is listed as 228V x 0.13A so I guess it is for 220V? Although MK2 said: L"ittle Dot amplifiers ships with a standard Type-B power cord (American 3-pin or U-ground) suitable for use in areas such as North America, Japan, Taiwan, etc." but I think this is only for cord...
Ah yeah, I didn't see that. I wonder if the seller offers a 110v one? I did look at the power cable and it looks like a 110v., but the sticker on the backs says 220v. I'm surprised it's not dual voltage.
It comes with Type-B power cord, but I believe that's the cord itself only.
Still waiting for that seller to reply my e-mail.
This drop ends in 10hrs. Ahh~ tough decision to make :(
I checked out this unit on Amazon, and in the question & answer section the seller profile "ShenzhenAudio" mentions that they ship the 220V or 110V model depending on the shipping address. That comment was left three and a half years ago, so they probably are aware of the issue and won't ship a 220V model to the US. I'm waiting for some sort of confirmation over at Newegg too.
EDIT: They got back to me and clarified the Newegg models they ship to the US are 110V units.
That would make sense. Thanks for the comment!
Thank you. This also means canceling the current drop ;D
Do you know about Little Dot's warranty coverage if purchase from ShenzhenAudio?
