Just got one of these from a buddy who had picked it up here. He upgraded to something. Problem I'm having is that I can't even get it to power on. I plug it in, flip the switch and it immediately blows the fuse. I replace the fuse, same thing. Any help? I'm using 5A slow-blows.

replace it with 4 discrete 1N4007 diodes, it's an endgame solution!
