We’ve all dealt with fussy charging cables that won’t charge correctly unless put in the perfect position. Made from durable aluminum housing, these braided cables eliminate that problem and protect your cable from fraying Read More
Not bashing Logiix.
I've owned several braided cables from different brands and they have all been terrible. They fall apart the fastest by either getting bent or frayed open somewhere along the cable forcing the cable out the frayed hole. Most companies seem like they shoved a 6ft cable in 5ft of stretched out braided fibers, this is why it gets forced out of a tiny tear/fray. I stopped getting braided and I buy Anker cables now great quality/price.
Tldr; braided is shit. Get a normal cable. Cant speak for steel braided though.
FrizleThanks Frizle!
We worked meticulously with our manufacturer to ensure that the construction of these cables was built for durability and this is why we've backed our products with our 1 year warranty. First and foremost, we believe cables should last and one of the core benefits of the braided cable is that they are tangle free.
We'd love it if you checked out the steel braided as this cable was completely re-engineered from end to end and is filled with functionality. It should be the last cable you need to buy and it it backed by our 3 year warranty!
LOGiiXbought 2 cables exactly year ago, till now they worked fine, not great but ok as there were several fryed spots with cable trying to escape the housing. as of now onee of them have weak spot where conncetion is lost if you move the cable just a tad making it completly unreliable and unusable from now on. I also belive they were made too stiff and braided part should have more room inside to prevent those permanent bends.
I don't know about these, but the steel braided ones I bought (3 of them) are utter crap. The relief spring and the steel braiding come apart from the connector at the lightning end. Two of the three I bought have done this.
WiskenHi Wisken,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused if you had purchased a Logiix Cable. Please contact our customer service at customerservice@logiix.net and let us start a warranty replacement for you. All we would need is an image of your cables, along with your receipt, and we can start a warranty claim.
jedi5diahHi Jedi5diah,
Thank you for your interest in our cables. We have forwarded this request to our product development team. For USB-C cables, we'd definitely suggest our Piston Connect Steel USB-C (sold on Massdrop), as it is our most durable cable ever. The added spring also eliminates the damage between the housing and cable. The Piston Connect Steel USB-C also includes a 3 year limited warranty.
For more information regarding the USB-C cables, we would suggest going to our website and reading more on technical specs, or emailing us at customerservice@logiix.net.
I wouldn't touch this drop with a 20 foot pole until they make the Micro USB cables a 3.0 upgrade and 2.4A capabilities. Those 2 are literally required for Micro USB cables.
Also a Mini USB cable option for us Mechanical Keyboard users would be nice too matching cables and all.
nac1Hello nac1,
