This is either a scam to pawn off junk cards using the popularity of Massdrop (and its reputation for selling MTG). Or it's not.
Take into consideration the disaster of the 'grab bag' they did in the past. It went horribly wrong and sand was had in many inappropriate places.
They were kind of ashamed, as they damn well should have been, for what seemed to be conning us*. I know as well as the rest of you that misleading people into buying MTG on "value" basis is far from a victimless crime.
That being said, I'm betting 1) Massdrop already screwed up once, they don't want to piss us all off again. 2) Piss off. I'm poor, played enough magic to buy a wife in some countries, and $2 a head for a draft @ 100 cards each with this kind of randomness... it is what it is.
Melee, tables of 5, loser has to throw his cards in the goddamn bonfire. Sill worth it.
