This Lou Board is the real deal! I used to use a hover board to get from one end of the office to the other, now I much prefer to hop on the Lou Board. As someone who rides a boosted board on a daily basis I find turning the Lou Board on and getting to riding much more ergonomic. All you have to do is put the board down flip on the remote and kick to start. The size is perfect for all of the situations a larger board would be to cumbersome. If you commute and need to be able to pick up the board with great ease but also need something that packs the range, power and acceleration then this is the board for you!

Been looking at Lou since the Kickstarter. I got lucky to find this deal at this price. I had been looking at the 1.0, so glad I bought the 3.0 with the larger battery and dual motors. I have another cheap electric board but this one is much easier to take with me so I have been able to use it every day to get to lunch at work. People can’t tell it’s electric which I like but everyone has liked the carbon fiber.
It is FAST! Almost fell the first time I jumped on but after a few days I really got the hang of the acceleration and stopping. Used the soflow app to adjust brakes, app is cool.
For my first drop I am happy!

It literally is the size of a regular skate board and not much heavier to boot. Going from the larger heavier Skatebolt to the Lou board is a night and day situation.
For maneuverability the Lou takes the cake, the tail makes for quick direction changes when an Uber driver suddenly decides to unload a passenger right in front of you.
The one thing that really surprised me was the app and being able to adjust the board to your riding style and Im not just talking about setting it to slow or fast but being able to adjust acceleration variably as well as top speed. You can see your current speed on the phone app only and maybe they will incorporate that into the remote at a future date.
The only downside was the absence of an on/off switch on the board but I think that was more me not being use to it than it being a negative attribute.
Im still pushing the limits on the Lou board and I will keep you updated with my future experiences.
