Italian shoemaker Luca Andreoli breathes new life into classic silhouettes—like these plain-toe bluchers, which benefit from the addition of XL Extralight commando lug soles. Each pair is handcrafted in India using Italian full-grain leather or suede and soles made from an innovative plastic foam. A new standard in the footwear industry, XL Extralight soles are lighter, more durable, and more shock-absorbing than traditional commando soles. They’re also much better equipped than leather soles to handle slippery floors, rainy sidewalks, and snow. Goodyear welted for easy resoling, this great all-around style can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Established in 2015 in Bologna, Italy, Luca Andreoli is managed by the next generation of the Nerini family, Diletta Nerini, who learned the art of making shoes from her father Massimo and grandfather Domenico (affectionately called Nico). The company still follows many of the designs and styling Diletta learned from time spent working with her father and grandfather.  The emphasis today is on enhancing the qualitative aspects of the production while remaining true to the art of Italian footwear.
