And, can anyone compare these to Red Wing Classic Oxford or even something more common like a pair of Dr. Martens?

I'm glad you agree -- we think so too -- feature by feature these are hard to pass on.

The problem with new companies is that sizing is hard to guess. And since we can't exchange to a different size...

MezzThese run TTS (true-to-size) according to the Brannock device. If you know your size there then you should be good to go!

Hard to find anything online about this company...
Would love some reviews. They look to be a nice causal shoe for nasty weather like we get here in Michigan.

pima1234Hello Pima,
This brand is a diffusion line from Nico Nerini (which we've featured many times before and you can read some reviews on those pages). Same factory and same product quality, just different styles and fabrications.

I leave that to my trusted Nepalese manservant, Sajit Kahn--I've got more important things to do! Now where did I put that confounded cocktail shaker?!!!

Any advice re: sizing / fit? I've seen on other shoes folks have mentioned 'get a half size up', etc.

Who owns these? They look like they'd be perfect for a Maine winter. My only gripe with dress shoes is that half the year the weather is too crappy here and wouldn't want to ruin them.

treeincThis is a new brand launching this year, but i can tell you they'd be a great fit for a Maine winter and still transition perfectly into other seasons as well. The chelseas may be a bit of a better fit if you're gonna go hard on them, and even these bluchers i'd do the full grain leather (not the suede) and should be completely fine. Hope this helps!
