JS has many of these Chinese made watches at this price point. I have actually seen and held one , there is nothing to compare them to to Ingersoll or even Earnshaw for that matter. These really are "mutton dressed as lamb". It is like the difference in quality between a Mercedes and a Great Wall sedan. I can't complain about the stated complications as I have some on one of my Ingersolls, but this watch does not fill me with any faith. I must say the three Ingersolls I have are faultless. So bring back some more of them. Not all as I only like about 5% of them; come to think of it ,I only like about 5% of the watches I see here on Drop!1!But that hasn't stopped me ordering 12 over the last two years.

JAoneMate, I’m here with your friends and family because we all care about you and can’t stand to see the pain you’re putting yourself through. This is is a cheap watch intervention.

Your Cheap watch buying habit has destroyed the family watch box. Nothing but unknown movements and strange dials everywhere! We can’t continue to live like this. Those 12 watches over 2 years could have been an Omega, a Breitling, maybe even a Tudor. The children don’t even know who made these movements or what factory it’s from. Do you really want them to not know who their movement manufacturer is?! You have to kick the habit now @JAone, especially since we have baby Mido on the way (did you buy it yet?). Don’t you want him to have a role model to look up to?

WatchyoutalkingaboutFirstly apologies for the bad typing in last comment and most this week, bad nerve damage down both arms, just returned from having that "sleeve thingy" injected into my neck vertebrae: but would you believe...more pain;just can't get a break. LOL, But yes I bought he "Mido", and the "Oris".(although the "Oris" is for my boy when he turns 18!) They sit nicely in my "real/proper" watch group, with my two "Raymond Weils ;the 3 "Glycine combat sub's", the" Seiko Alpinist", and "Seiko" SNE566p L.E. solar and the "Yema Rally Graf"; are all good. Even the micro-brand "Skytoucher" Swedish brand watch is great: Ronda 515,GMT movement, sapphire glass, screw-down crown and 100m wr. good for a micro-brand,magnificent "lume", and the reviews were very good. Oh, I did forget my prized Panzera Breuer 43, valjoux 7750 which is a fully made and produced Swiss watch from an Aussie microbrand. Power to the microbrands I say!!! But the 3 Geckotas, and 3 Ingersolls are mainly fun watches;but I must say the quality is great. All 3 Geckota's run Seiko movements, 2 x NH35,and a VK64 mecha quartz. The Ingersoll on the other hand , do run a Khangzou auto, a Seagull auto and a quartz Miyota. But run spot on, and are very stylish watches. I know I realyy have a down on Chinese product at present because of the political situation with Australia but they make IMO very attractive tricky watches. Just about to order the Steinhart Premium GMT titanium diver auto, or a nice little "G2 Gevril" diver I have come across ;m\not sure which. I don't remember the other watches I have but these are mainly what I run now!I don't have any more than twenty; my target was 10!!!! Like that is gonna happen LOL. You may notice a lack of:..... Tag, Rolex, Tudor (although I did think seriously about the P 01 Black Bay, love it's individuality),Panerai,Omega etc. I just don't see the value in watches which are mainly expensive because of their label power!! Yes some are just lovely, and wit far superior build and components, but not at the prices they ask: my current FAV the Rolex white face Explorer II GMT for example is what I would really like but I would only have "1" used watch which eventually would just bore me to tears. What I have is good "value". These watches owe me less than $7000 usd. The Explorer alone is over that price!!!!! Oh !! and one important reason for being an "affordable" and fun, watch collector is ,wait for it!.................money!!LOL but if I win lotto!!! who knows: ---- Nah, nothing will change; I will still support the little guys. And they are more interesting IMO to me anyway . " INTERVENTION:INTERVENTION: INTERVENTION", I just had a thought of adding the MIDO Ocean Star GMT diver instead of Steinhart if I can find a heavily discounted price(which for me is 50 to 80% of a sensible RRP. the Lucien Piccard for example should stay with it's namesake "Captain Piccard" !!! way out in the stars, with the other aliens. I must admit though a cheapie Citizen Titanium GMT diver is wriggling into the mix especially if I can get it for $300 usd. or less. Just for fun I will list the Geckotas and ingersolls so you don't think I am totally crazy: that's Rayf's department!!LOL Geckota C-01, C-03 and K-01 44mm; and Ingersoll -"Scovill chrono" currently on dark brown vintage small hole rally strap,(alos my cheapest watch at $74 usd,) the very "groovy, contemporary, Michigan L.E. in Bronze and Gunmetal with" free"(one of my favorite words!!) watchwinder (50% discount on Ingersoll website)I like to have something funky, keeps me feeling young: and a "Special Sapphire Edition" Santa Ana, a very small day/night complication, with a color combo I had seen at Alpina ( oh I forgot my two Alpina chronographs ,or did I sell them with the GMT diver? I just can't keep up when on the meds!!) but could not afford it,the Alpina at $2395 usd. the Ingersoll Santa Sna at $185 usd. much more affordable!!:-- It's grey sunburst metallic dial with rose gold case on dark brown alligator strap, it's a similar size to my Alpinist at 40 mm dia ,which adds to its retro feel, and yes very cheap over 60% discount. Yes it has an ordinary little cal 164 movement from Zhangzou; if that's how you spell it! And only around a 30 or 32 hour power reserve , but that just adds to the old world charm. It also has a sapphire exhibition case back to look at the cheap movement!! But seriously there are some very good watches coming out of China, mainly through makes like the British Geckota brand and the still thought of Ingersoll U.S. brand. I guess even Dufa another Dartmouth brand is not bad , most of Dartmouth Group except "Ballast", IMO are quite well made. But I would really avoid Results co. group, they have some seriously fugly watches, you have to be very selective there with the odd watch from Shield and Heritor slipping through, so they are doing a little bit right. And don't forget "Chritopher Wrad. London Fireman:, Zodiac etc, Thanks for your concern, it is probably not without merit!! Unfortunately you got me just after administering pain meds, they make me ramble on about, well "nothing" really. But you can perhaps see some off my mindset; or maybe you see my "out of my mind" mindset. LOL. I still appreciate your opinion and many others on the site ,even if a little different from my own ,so keep on with your comments. Thanks. Time for heat packs!!

I haven't seen a watch I like at my price point for at least 2 months, maybe the Virus crisis is making it difficult for Drop to get decent stock, or maybe I have enough watches!!

Can’t believe so many people don’t appreciate this for the outstanding timepiece that it is. Possibly the best watch MD has ever offered!

There's something very "Heritor" about this time piece. Even has a Swiss sounding name. And what is "Sapphitek"? Still the Drop target market has customers with differing purchase power. If you like it good luck,it's not ugly as hell,at least there will be many partners happy with the cost who just don't understand the "Watch Addiction" thing!

Jesus Christ! Why the f*** this kind of items appear in MD? This type of trash can be bought in China for $20 or even less than that. Please DO NOT waste your money on this piece of sh**
