Hah, I actually own one of these! I've had it for a couple years, too. It's housed several 13" Macbooks with no problem. It's a little bit bigger than they are, but whatever — since the velcro strips run the length of the sleeve, I can fold over the excess and it'll stay shut.
And it's a bit of a conversation starter! Only downside is my cat likes to scratch at it.

RobinHow thick is the material when you fold over more than just the flap? Is the excess oddly bulky?

RobinNo worries - wasn't going to ask. I hope I'm not that anal. Just not a fan of stuff where it feels bulky cuz of bad design. If it's not a big deal though (as you're suggesting), that's great.

RobinDoes this thing ever stop smelling like chemicals? I keep it in my backpack and every time I unzip the bag the strong plastic smell fills the room. I guess on the positive side my macbook gets to keep that "new product" smell forever if the Tyvek never stops outgassing.
