basedfobBeing Korean, I'm actually a little offended by this post. That being said, it's a bad stereotype, but a stereotype nonetheless. There is always a tiny bit of truth to them, even if they don't apply to everyone.
In addition, I think people all over do silently judge you. Whether it affects you or not, that's based on how comfortable you are and the environment you're in. You wouldn't wear flip-flops to an interview (and you can bet that interviewer will probably judge you if you did). It's sad, but it's pretty common.

basedfobI am Korean, but that really has nothing to do with my point. I could say the same thing about U.S. when you look at regions of the country like LA or Miami. It is natural progression to want to look good when you have money and time. I think the way I do because I know we are all silently judged and stereotyped as you are doing.

basedfobI'm actually quite a lot offended by this post - and I'm English. To make such a sweeping generalisation about an entire nation of people just smacks of bigotry and ignorance in my opinion. No place for this kind of thing here, in my view.
