These are pretty awesome. They illuminate a two person shelter with a nice glow and my wife and I can save the batts in our headlamps for night hiking, while recharging our tent light for free. No more shining spots in each other's eyes. I've yet to see the charge light go green, but had the light hanging in low light setting by my bear canister all night, and in the morning it was still going. That was a solid 8 hours of light.
