I had this watch, really nice but the strap is big and makes not very friendly to strap replacements. But this is a solid price on this one.

I own this watch, paying $499 for it. Nice finish that has worn well. Love the style- the band is wide as noted, however it is lined in calfskin and very comfortable even at 28mm. On the wrist it does not look large- nor does the strap. I have not evaluated this watch on a timegrapher, but it seems to keep excellent time. I am an avid collector of aviation related time keeping devices, so this definitely fits the bill. I do believe this is new old stock being offered as these are no longer a stock item. Definitely consider this as a great watch.

RayFThere are always custom strap makers. Have used them in the past for retro looking watches. On the other questions - aluminum and 120
clicks I am sure about. I do not recall if the bezel was unidirectional and I am away and unable to check on that. YouTube could probably tell you more.

I like this watch. Would someone please enlighten me about the difference between a standard SW220-1 and this :
" SW220-1 special HH automatic movement".

CartmenI believe that the HH denotes a high canon pinion to make clearance for the tubes on the hands.

I was a little interested until I saw the $500 bump for the Valjoux. Picked up my Tissot Chrono for less than 600 with same movement. Hmmmm. Pass.
