This is a no fuss light that I always seem to be using around the house, it’s fairly light and has a decent amount of lumens. Quality is also solid. Although I really wouldn’t say it’s worth the up charge for the titanium model but I do like titanium. If you’re hesitant just give the aluminum model a try.

I love this flashlight, the quality is outstanding! The slight ribbing from the machining makes it very tactile, and gives a bit more grip than a polished finish. The brass rings give a nice detail contrast as well. I also have a Thrunite Ti4T titanium penlight, which I use a lot at work, in fact it was my second penlight, the first was a cheap alloy one that proved to be more trouble than it was worth, it rattled and flickered after a few minutes, so I bought the Thrunite. That’s a much better light, but the pronounced on/off button is very prone to being accidentally turned on when carried in a pocket, so I now carry it in a pen ‘slot’ on a belt pouch. The Lumintop button is much, much better, the very low profile makes it almost impossible to turn on accidentally. Really very glad I joined the drop for this light.

So, if I understand you correctly, the ThruNite is a much better light than the cheap alloy one. How does this Lumintop compare to the ThruNite? Is there any distinguishing features about it besides the low-profile clicky tail switch?

When the button is working this is a very nice pen light. Unfortunately the button only mostly works.

I got the brass one and really like it. If there’s one thing I would change it would be knurling along the shaft.

It just stopped working. Barely used. One battery did leak. Fully cleaned out the corrosion. Worked fine after the cleaning...then a month later...nothing. It's unfortunate b/c it was a really nice light! Hate to see it go. Trying to figure out how to re-purpose the Brass tube....

It's a nice light but I have one issue, the brass ring near the head doesn't fill the space for it so it kind of just flops around in there and doesn't look very nice at all. Drives me crazy.

Nice light. However, the claim is that the shell is titanium. The 3rd day after delivery the shell was scratched. Seems a bit odd fir a high quality titanium alloy.

More easily than most Aluminum alloys, right? So if anything, a few snail trails on the shell are one more indication of genuine Titanium :)
