Titanium version arrived a couple of days ago. Beautiful piece. Super smooth and the button action is good.
My only disappointment is that the machining isn't as precise as it could be. Either the brass ring behind the head is too thin, or the threads haven't been machine back far enough to fully seat the head. As a result the ring kind of flops around in the overly large space allotted for it. You can kind of see it in the photos here of the titanium model. The brass ring appears at an angle and the space can't be closed completely to keep the ring from moving around (mine is more pronounced than the one shown here). It's the only thing keeping this light from being as classy as it could be.

glennacSorry, but this is driving me nuts. The cap won’t tighten down enough to close the gap where the brass ring is so it flops around in the space. The gap really detracts from the lights otherwise classy appearance.

glennacLate reply, but try screwing the pill down with a pair of tweezers. If the pill is up too high, the battery tube and head won't screw together all the way.

HHanger17Put a pair a tweezers in those two holes you see in the driver, and screw it in clockwise. It's possible the driver emitter module/pill isn't screwed down all the way. It's a threaded brass slug with the emitter on one side and the driver on the other

bucktenAnd a late reply back… I can’t get it to budge. I’m afraid of damaging it if I try any harder. I’m living with it for now. It seems to be glued in with silicone in the threads.
