I have one of these from the previous Drop, and it’s a fantastic flashlight, except for the interface, which is, quite frankly, highly confusing and far more complex than it really needs to be. While I understand that there’s a section of the flashlight using community who love to fiddle around with interfaces, having to sit perusing the user guide for 30 minutes to try, unsuccessfully, to figure out how to get a strobe function or the turbo mode easily is a royal pain!
The other issue is that the switch has stopped working, probably because of an issue with the electronic switch, and I’ve had no response to requests for a replacement.
what I’d like to see is a choice between the complicated, multi-choice interface and a conventional sequential push button on the tail cap.
If someone could get back to me regarding a replacement for my non-functioning tailcap, I’d very much appreciate it.
