SteveMidwestHaha yea its a nice surprise. When I took the flashlight out of the box I was a bit confused. But hey, free upgrade for us I suppose?

On the other hand though, it's one more thing to go wrong.
I have four, 4 bay battery chargers. Plus a pack full of batteries. I'm not a good example, of a buyer wanting to charge the battery, while it's still in the flashlight.
Their Lumintop orange O-ring, under the glass. Has changed as well.
I have a minor relationship with Lumintop, outside of Massdrop. So I'll be allright, and really don't mind much. But others may not feel the same way.
I have to wonder, how this could happen, without being notified, too. But maybe a production line switch-over, could not have been predicted. With enough accuracy, that far out. When the original deal was laid out?

SteveMidwestSame, I have external chargers that I'd rather use cause I trust them more, but the USB comes in handy for if i ever take the light with me on a camping trip or something, charge via the car or a battery pack.
I wonder if the spare O-rings included are in a different color, I havent looked at anything in the box other than the light itself lol.

PandaSPURThe two spare O-rings are black, and both are sized for the tail-cap area only.
Another thing. The lanyard normally comes in an orange color. This one is black. Which I prefer.
