Anyone able to provide feedback if I used a AA to 18650 adapter with this. Want to know if I will get the same light lumens output if I used the adaptor. Example, if I would get the 1000 lumens at max.

ViraAAs max out at 1.5 volts. 18650s are around 4 volts when fully charged. Can't see a single AA getting close to 1000 lumens.

ViraI have several lights that take cr123 or 18650's that I run on AA. They're not nearly as bright, but still very good, and when I want POWER, I swap out the battery. Downside though, they're bulkier than an AA needs to be. You can get a fenix ld10 iirc (on the name) that's super compact and 20something if all you'll ever do is AA.

awoodbyThanks! Will also look into the fenix. I'm quite new to EDC flashlights so just asking here and there.

ViraYou may also want to consider the Reylight Pineapple Brass. It recently dropped here and may drop again soon. The Reylight runs on a single AA or 14500 battery.
