Only $49.90 on Amazon with free shipping. Not really understanding what the drop is Or why we'd pay more?

Terdlwell lets see...first...that price you quote on amazon is for the model s WITHOUT the ce123 batteries and still 5 bucks MORE than here....you want them with the batteries its 68 bucks. or more with the ncr18650b and a charger. this is a great price even cheaper than what the CHINESE knock offs on ebay. JS.

Terdlhere with shipping to me and the ncr18650b battery included is 48.84 thats a little over a buck less that amazon WITHOUT the battery. not much but when you add the price of the battery thats 20 bucks... il wait the time it takes for mass drop to ship...for that.

Terdlnot free here it cost me 3.95 for this drop. amazon is generally free shipping for most everything...just pays to shop prices. Mass drop isnt always cheaper...sometimes their prices are way higher than others. apparently most drops postage for international is pretty high.. not sure what the reasons are from shipper to shipper but i have seen posts about that. im just glad i live in the US. where its next to nothing most times.

Terdltrue but the ones on amazon for 49 bucks i looked at dont show they come with ANY batteries. i prefer the single rechargeable 18650 to the two cr123s. even though there's really not much difference on power . . two cr123s are anywhere are from 5 - 15 bucks . whereas one 18650 runs 7 -15. either way add that to amazons 49 bucks...and youre paying 65 bucks...id say massdrops price is significantly cheaper then.

Terdli havent had good experiences with the longevity of the CRs. once installed they drain whether you use the item or not..i have to leave them out until i need to use the light or whatever...not a good quality for batteries. thats why i like the 18650s at least they can be recharged...it sucks to have to round up your lights and check batteries and pop for 5-10 bucks in each case every couple of months even if youre not using them regularly. makes me want to go back to the old AA /AAA lights...at least its cheaper that way.

TerdlDon't buy 18650 batteries "just anywhere". You are asking for trouble, especially ebay and Amazon third party sellers.
