Did a live chat. It’s going to be mid to late July when we get our $h1t mailed. Then proba another month to get here from China I guess
i ordered their titanium Aaa light that drop self produces. Shipped in 24 hrs and got it in less than 4 days. Guess we better off ordering drop’s self manufactured items

jack.shenIn case you want to cancel and buy one already made up but a little more expensive, shipped from the USA I found a couple. They are selling for 69.95. Not much more but at least you will have it. Only found (2) a this cost the rest are much higher or from places I would not trust. If interested I will post the websites

jack.shenHere they are. I believe they only have one available to buy on each website. It looks like both are located in Florida. It’s a little more expensive than this drop. Much cheaper than others I found online though.

Xcurrent93I’m still holding onto the hope I get my drop. But thanks for the links. I really want the stainless version. That’s why I’m waiting and been bugging the hell outta drop’s customer service like daily lol. I did pick up a titanium klarius mi7 from good ole amazon.
Nice light and decent run times on both Aaa and lithium ion’s. UI is a odd but at least I don’t gotta cycle through moonlight every time.
You can go straight to moonlight or straight to high. Which is cool

Yeah and nothing from lumintop or drop. Which I think is weird considering from what I understand lumintop are the ones that do the lumin testing for drop.
Oh well if it all falls through I may just pick up a second titan plus from surefire’s over priced stock lol. It is so far the best regular AAA I’ve bought over the years.
Or just get the copper prince.
Only reason I prefer stainless is since copper and brass is a softer metal. I’ve had incidents where I dropped a brass or copper cap and it bent enough that it no longer screwed on correctly. That’s why I went for the stainless.

jack.shenWow! I’m glad it finally came through. It would have been far cheaper for me to get the lumintop prince. Because on top of the Copper Pineapple Limited, I got the copper Lan limited, Triple Ti Dawn 2.1 and Copper Mini Pineapple (Mini was on sale). All directly from Reylight. My wallet hates me. I won’t be buying anymore flashlights anytime soon.

Xcurrent93I’ve got the aa and aaa brass reylights. I really like the ability to use the lithium ion battery.
I don’t hardly use the aaa. The low setting is way too low and the runtimes aren’t that super. But man is it a cool light.
The AA gets a good bit of use around the yard and things like that.

jack.shenYes, i agree. I use a 10040 high drain cell for the mini. It cranks out some light for such a tiny light. The moon is useful for me when I wake up in the middle of the night. It allows me to see but not destroy my eyes with a blinding light. The things I was looking for in a light was that I could use li-ion unprotected flat top imr/inr cells. And a big one was it also had low voltage protection (most lights that take Ii-ion don’t have this feature. Only reverse polarity. Both the mini and reg size meet those requirements.
I only buy Imr and inr unprotected cells. I noticed some lights say they will only work with Imr LI-ion batteries. I think it is because they stay cool and are safe. They don’t mention that they will also work with INR chemistry, mainly because it’s a hybrid of IMR

In INR 's they add nickel to the IMR chemistry above, making it a "hybrid". It combines the safety and low resistance of manganese with the high energy of nickel.
The result is a reasonably high capacity and a high discharge . the chemistry is very stable. you don't need expensive built-in protective circuits.
Sony, Samsung, and LG are all developing next-gen INR batteries with different ratios of manganese, nickel, and cobalt.
Usually the rule is high capacity -low energy/ high energy - low capacity. INR bends that rule some.
I prefer INR because what I said above makes it a perfect ratio for Vaping. This balance is also ideal for lights. I didn’t want to have to buy new cells when I already have a ton.
I bet the brass looks good. I’m liking the copper. I look forward to the patina. I have some copper vape stuff so I’m already a fan.

Xcurrent93Wow you know a lot about batteries. All my lithium ions are button top. I guess that means they’re protected. I check that they have the little vent holes on the button cause i’ve heard some horror stories in the past. But looks like the technology is improving quickly.
I really want to get some tritium vials for my reylights. I used to have quite a few of the 25 mm ones. But I used them all for fobs and things like that. Plus way to big. They just cost so much. Not to mention how easily they break.

Xcurrent93Got the light. So far it’s pretty nice. But I don’t think it’s really carbon fiber. It’s like a 2 mm thick almost rubber liner. That has a carbon fiber look.
I’ve got a few knives that are carbon fiber handles. And cf with the gold wire like the prince claims to be. Has a texture and is rock hard. And are super expensive. And the nitecore version of the 18650 batteries don’t work cause they are a little longer. The blue colored ‘generic’ 18650 ones work fine though
