I hate to be that guy, but this is a fashion flashlight you buy for the looks, not for the functionality. If you really like the looks, go for it. However, there are cheaper and better performing flashlights, but those are, well, "boring". For one, this likely still has a cool white LED, whereas flashlight enthusiasts tend to prefer a neutral white LED (better color reproduction, and many feel that it's easier on the eyes). For another, there's no "moonlight" or "firefly" mode.
PinheadIt seems to have a quality clip, quality LED in a nice tint (pure white from a Google search) and the body is available in copper. That's a pretty high performance offering for $60 and rare as most my 18650 lights don't carry well in the pocket. People pay 10 times that for a titanium McGizmo knowing full well that Ti's properties are thermally garbage. :)
Pinhead"Pure white" isn't a Cree designation but rather mine, no blues/purples, greens or otherwise odd hues...in the pictures it simply looks as one would expect white to be. If one wanted to strictly by Cree's definition of "cool white" for the XM-L2 that is a number of tint bins and a variance from 5000k to 8300k. While most people would hope for something in the middle if they got one towards the upper spectrum I'm sure they would be quite upset...

This is not the dream aficionados light (it's not mine at least) It's a number of nice features in a copper package for the price of a decent dinner out. Just one more to add to the collection and seems a value for people getting into the hobby.
