I received my light today. It seems very nice but I have a few questions/possible issues: - The switch on mine rattles. Has anyone noticed this on their example? - The manual says that low should be the default setting but mine defaults to the high setting (usually). - Mine cycles high (default usually), low, medium. - Sometimes the light defaults to the low or medium settings instead of high. I'm wondering if a slight press (not clicking it on) while the light is off cycles through high/medium/low as it does when the light is on. - The clip on mine is gold instead of silver as shown in the drop. I wish it was silver. My light is copper.
I also bought this light in another drop: Lumintop Copper Tool AAA Flashlight. Its user interface works just as the manual says it should.

photoman12001I don't have one, but all my luminous have a mode memory. Last brightness on, will be the first to turn on.

artypanThanks for the reply. I actually ended up returning this because there was no way to reliably know what mode would be active when it turned on. Maybe mine was defective. I replaced it with an Olight S2 in copper which I really like a lot. I wanted something to use the 18650 batteries that I bought for the Prince. Massdrop, you should offer the S2-CU. I also bought a Malkoff MD2 with a M61W head for those batteries which is truly awesome (LED light that looks like incandescent). Otherwise I liked the Prince. It was well made and had a nice beam pattern and brightness. I have two other Lumintops that I like a lot and carry constantly, the AAA versions in copper (Cree LED) and titanium (Nichia LED).
