Armed with eight different modes, up to 1,000 lumens of output, and a hard-anodized aluminum body, this mini tank of a torch is ready for any outdoor adventure. The Lumintop SD4A is nice and thick for a comfy hold in the hand. The aluminum frame is 1.5-meter impact resistant and IPX-8 waterproof—and it can tailstand if you need it to. The SD4A features a dual-button side switch to quickly cycle through all eight modes, including strobe, SOS, and an aviation signalling mode if you get stranded. Available with your choice of two different LEDs, the light gives you up to a 1,300-foot beam, too. Go for the CREE XM-L2 U2 LED for a stronger, more concentrated beam; go for the CREE XP-L HI LED for a longer throw with a higher peak beam intensity. Both lights come with a spare O-ring and a lanyard.
