Does anyone else take issue with this? They drill a hole in the end cap to attach something to. They provide a min-split ring as a starting point since it's such a small hole & flashlight. They even provide a larger split ring and mini-carabiner. However, the hole in the end cap is too small for even the provided min-split ring to even start to attach anything to this flashlight. What's the point???

Or is mine defective? Please say it's defective and this isn't just a dumb design.

For products that do not have an included manufacturer's warranty, customers have 30 days from the date of delivery to report an issue. For products that include a manufacturer's warranty, customers must report an issue within the stated warranty period.
