i personally like the M-L-H clicking with no memory. I use low most of the time, so 3 quick clicks get me there. I like that on this model the button is metal instead of silicone, if only because I can rest it on its bottom aiming up if needed. If you want a black one they are cheap in Amazon (2packs like $40) and some include a magnetic base. The TI version is more aesthetically pleasing with the brass "accent" IMO
