It's worth mentioning that this is the first version of this lens. Panasonic announced the second version this week at CES (release around March/April). The new version offers compatibility with the new stabilized sensors with the G85 and upcoming GH5. If you own, or plan to own one of these cameras in the future you can gain up to 5 more stops because of Dual Image Stabilisation. This lens is not compatible with dual image stabilization.
