Not what I expected but like the product so far

I had intended to buy a sofa blanket to throw around, and of course my lack of research was my problem. The blanket arrived in a suspiciously heavy box; after opening it and holding the blanket up, it was definitely heavier by density based on the materials used. In fact, I was wondering if the load on the body would be a problem. Well, I decided to try it as a blanket on the bed, and after a couple of weeks of use I must say it seems to help me sleep and feel calm after the wake. Also I am certainly more used to the weight now. I do enjoy the blanket and may pickup another. I would almost prefer a more rugged upper layer and a softer bottom layer, but that isn't a huge deal as long as it holds up, particularly with our pet Pom on the bed.
