So naive question: I assume this does one pane at a time? And then you have to detach it and reattach it to the next pane? It seems like it would only be useful if you had some pretty large windows?

czargarbleYou are correct about it washing one pane at a time. The larger the window, the more beneficial it is. It takes only a few seconds to detach and reattach it to a new pane though. Overall, it will save you time on washing windows unless you have small windows with many panes.

Hello all, I am very familiar with this brand and did testing for this product so I can answer all questions!

DshadiDshadi - I am about to join this drop but I have one last question. Intuition tells me this, or any robot window cleaner for that matter, would struggle along the edges - that last 1/4 to 1/2 inch of glass along the window frame. Is that misplaced? Does this robot get right up to the window glass edge?

PrismaticI know for a fact that this will not be an issue with this Robot Cleaner. It has multiple sensors that learn the dimensions of the glass it is on, and will go until it touches the edge, making sure not to miss a spot.

Does this have a built-in water sprayer like the Hobot 298?

Anybody know anything about this bot? I'm finding very little on the net about it, no reviews, no YT overviews etc.

Very good points you make! I have done testing for every single one of Luxton Home’s products. Luxton Home is a niche company. They find products that they believe benefits peoples lives, improves them, and brings in the best quality of that product. Like you mentioned the weighted blankets, they help with mental health so they brought in weighted blankets that have the best sticking and sourced the best cotton. The Futon helps with back alignment/health and posture, so they brought in a comfortable one that will last for years, etc. They have electronics to like an Air Fryer which has gotten great reviews.  I asked why they don’t have a website and they said because they are not good at internet marketing (google adwords and facebook ads) so they like to sell on Amazon and websites like Massdrop.  Do you think it would help if I posted a video of the robot cleaning up a dirty window?

Yes it would help, that's something people have mentioned several times in the discussions on this product. The issue that you seem to be missing is that this is largely an unknown product and company. Usually products of this type have overviews and reviews from KNOWN and reliable reviewers. You vouch for them but we don't know you. You are new this year to Drop and have only commented on products from Luxton. You say you don't work for them, yet (so far) you have only commented on their products. You do not sound like a neutral party to me, you sound like an interested party. Like I said, this may be a fine product but I have no reliable way of knowing that as there is almost no information out there on this and nothing from a trustworthy source. Selling on Amazon and Drop are perfectly legitimate ways to have a business, the lack of a website does not necessarily matter. However I will wait and watch this product with interest and fingers crossed. Once the product has been out for a while and has racked up some reviews I'll be better able to make an informed decision on whether I want one or not. I hope it is as good as you say and I wish you well with this product launch.
