seems to me that the QC on these is pretty bad. when i boot up my PC and it will come on then eventually go out and the only way to get it back on is to unplug the USB and plug it back in. Also another gripe about this product is that the volume output to my headphones and my studio monitors is rather low. Even with the source knob turned all the way to USB the sound is still rather low. wish i could return this thing.

I'm having some problems with this. I am not doing any kind of professional recording or anything, I am using the M-Track Plus II with the MXL v67GS microphone and when ever i try to use it on my windows 10 computer it comes in making me sound like on of the chipmunks. When i plug in my headphones to the front plug as a monitor it sounds fine so i don't believe it is the microphone. The drivers are up to date and i am stumped. I have tried to reach out to M-audio but that didn't work all that well and it seams that there are some very knowledgeable people here.
Additionally, now my comp freezes about 20 seconds after i plug in my interface and doesn't unfreeze until i unplug it.

I bought the plus model And I was listening to music on the interface using headphones, but whenever I turn up the volume the thing makes this crackling noise and stops working also the blue lights too switch off and on. When I was trying to record on (ableton) live the display hit red (partially because i screamed into the mic.)and it stopped working i got an error that the audio engine is off. had to reselect it from prefrences had to do the same for guitar rig pro and flstudio. What might be the problem ?

We have some great news to share with everyone. This M-Audio drop is currently a little bit ahead of schedule. Our warehouse team received the bulk shipment earlier this afternoon and has already begun preparing your individual orders for shipment. We are aiming to have everything shipped out within the next 2 days.

It’s happening! Thanks to each of you, the drop was a success and we have contacted the vendor for the M-Audio MTRACK MKII USB Interface and submitted the group’s order. Can I hook this up with a XLR microphone and use it for Skype or livestream?

formosanYes, though for skype it is overkill. Skype uses SILK for audio compression anyway so it's not going to be super high quality. For streaming though or higher quality recording this setup would be good with an XLR mix. Something like the AT2020 or similar.

Can someone tell me if, preferably from their own experience, if this device works well with windows 8.1 and windows 10. The interface I have now has been a nightmare to use on these OS's

AznPrideyou could always just get a class compliant interface. then you wouldn't have to deal with OS updates and waiting for new drivers. I don't personally have experience with this particular interface but I used an M-Audio FastTrack Pro for like 4 years with absolutely no issues until upgrading to OS X Yosemite so I've been borrowing a friend of mine's Scarlett 2i2 for a while. I'm not sure if M-Audio has put out a new driver for the FastTrack Pro or not but I heard rumors that they might not be supporting that device any longer since it came out so long ago so I haven't really bothered to look into it. I'm just gonna buy a Steinberg UR22 most likely
