BevrorenmanI see the comments that you are referring to, I have read similar ones elsewhere. I was aware of some persons having issues, but to me they seem to be more about setup, rather than issues with the device itself. The latency issue seems to be found no matter which DAW one is using, but the Arturia has been reported with similar problems as well. Many people seem to have worked around it, once they configured the device accordingly. There are some threads on gearslutz about this as well;

The difference between using the Trigger Finger Pro as a hardware sequencer versus a controller or beat maker, is important. While designed to do all of these, it performs better it would appear as a hardware controller. That is not to say it doesn't do a wonderful job with certain DAW's and software. The Trigger Finger Pro has a variety of applications, depending on your use of the device and the software you are using, as well as the user's skill and experience level, will determine the quality of the user experience.
I would invite you read some of the posts from users who have had great success in using the TFP and see how they were able to address the issues that concern you. There are a few professionals who have used it with some success and I find their comments most effective in addressing any issues that may or may not be present. Sequencers, controllers, drum machines and the like take years of experience and practice to master their functionality. Not to mention the amount of variation from device to device and from different software interfaces.
As always, we at Massdrop strive to bring quality products to the community and address whatever concerns the community may have. Thank you for posting and for participating in Massdrop's Pro Audio Community.
