mhipThis isn't a dive watch, it is a naval watch. And, anyway, Everyone who dives seriously uses a dive computer now, not a bezel on an automatic watch, to time their decompression stops and their elapsed total time. FWIW you also have a pressure meter on your airtank to monitor your remaining air so if you are depending on a watch or computer to assess your air reserve you probably deserve to drown.

I was responding to the given description, as in: That movement is protected all the way down to 300 meters. When diving, you can easily read the watch thanks to the prominent markers and lumed coating

mhipNot the first time Drop have got it wrong but course you could use this watch for diving. It's been years since I dived but I think that, on the hierarchy of risks, the way your watch bezel turns is pretty well down on the list of things that can kill you.

mhipi've been diving since...1982? anyway, well before dive computers were even much of a thing. While i do understand the point of a uni-directional bezel, they have always frustrated me for all the things i usually use the bezel for (like parking meters.) And in that vein, i have got to say bi-directional countdown bezels rule. I had sworn off Swiss watches, but this one is calllling to me.

ratwerksI think this is German rather than Swiss.

Outdoors_guyIt is. I tend to group any ETA or Sellita in with "Swiss" in my Swiss/Japanese dichotomy. While I mostly prefer Japanese watches, of the "Swiss" watches I like the German ones best. This German Sellita pretty much ticked every single box for me. Damnit. I hope it ships on time.

RayFIt wasn't much, but they paid me. (I see now that I have misread the attributes and intention that lead me to reply up there.) Delivery is due in the next couple days.
