Product Description
From German watchmaker Mühle-Glashütte, the Terrasport II is a traditional pilot’s watch that ticks all the boxes. Clean, legible, accurate, reliable: these are all words that describe the series Read More
I like this a lot, but for a bit more money you could get a Sinn. Or just get a Laco or a Stowa for around the same.
Still. This is definitely a nice one.
So, $120 more for the black dial? Seems a bit too much of a premium for a more popular color way. Also, formerly MassDrop, can’t you even bother to google search and add a picture of the clasp for a watch your hocking for over $700?

Great watch. I really appreciate the quality of many German Brands. This one is probably a little too plain for me, but if you're interested I think this is a good purchase.
DominkoI agree with your opinion of the lack lustre looks, but still it is a lot of money for a SW200 movement, real shame about the dial ,maybe some raised indices, some surface texture or another complication of sorts would make the dial more interesting, but the case and finish does look top notch.

JAoneWell I'm really tempted to pull the pin on this now. I do like German watches and the price on the bracelet is very smart.
I like the look but I agree that it is kind of expensive. But at least for the price you get a modified movement. I don’t think sinn modifies their movements and the prices are similar to Muhle.
Having witnessed the unfortunate aftermath of a helicopter accident I can safely state that pilot’s watches should have a degree of water resistance and I can also state that g-shocks, as ugly as they are, can survive quite a dunking.
Lots of manufacturers claim to "modify" ETA and SELLITA movements but when you look at it often all you can see is a company rotor and perhaps a bit of machine applied decoration. Looking at this movement you can see at a glance blued screws and a modified regulation system, two things that add value. There may be more. Some are better than others but no watch that comes out of Glashutte is a poor one. Muhle are entry level Glashutte but I'd be happy to consider this watch at the price asked here. If I were interested I'd be heading over to their website to see if I could find out more.
Looks ok, but not sure what is has above the original Flieger from Stowa, which can be had at roughly same price, with a better movement, better lume, blued hands and a fantastic finishing? Oh and was nearly forgetting: and is one of the 5 original manufacturers of Flieger watches. Beat that, Muhle! ;)
I am sorry if everyone is under the impression that I have set myself up as some kind of arbiter on watch brands and fascism but I only have an opinion of whether I would or would not wear a flieger associated directly with the luftwaffe in WW2.
I know very little about panerai except that I associate them immediately with paunchy men, vulpine fake dentition, chunky jewellery, ferraris and mid-life crises; but perhaps I am being unfair.
