Firstly; I’m super disappointed that we paid extra 25$ on first drop and now it is going less!! That’s indeed not fair and Massdrop should refund us specially it is with 1 month! Secondly the sound seems okay however the Bass is not as strong as I expected. My open back Senni 6XX modded has same bass and that headphones not been made for bass (just normal bass at its best). thirdly; have anyone notice the 3 holes on the Right cup seems closed?! Lastly; quality like a 10 bucks headphones

Blue78How have you listened to them. Have you listened to them wired connected to a amp at all or tried using eq for the bass at all. I'm curious because if they sound good out of the box & they can be eq'd to have hard impacting bass then they'll probably be worth it to a lot of ppl

Gotown_RebelYep my review is after listening to them wired and connected to a 600mw amp with Kaizertone and Korg iAudioGate players. im not into Bluetooth however I gave it a try and sound became really dull, and reduced by around 30% which made it awful like a cheapo headphones. maybe for people who didn’t tried basshead headphones will think bass is strong but for people who knows/have/had basshead headphones will know immediately it’s not a basshead or close to it yet it has an ok sound unless I also received a defective unit (as I mentioned seems the 3 holes on right cup is closed and not open like the left cup) . the first person who received and reviewed the item below had a broken parts but not sure about what he says about sound aside from the poor buildup quality. there was another gentleman who tested the MOOH against RBH and says sound quality (also ear pads) are not the same. unfortunately Massdrop has no return policy unless the item is damaged hence I got stuck with these and sadly it is not cheap for what I paid of 125$

Blue78Very interesting. That's good to know. Very disappointing though. Most definitely was looking for a new basshead pair of headphones & the price is very attractive. Thanks for the info though

Gotown_RebelI just pumped into the review section here and found “DiamondPilot” review confirms what I was trying to say regarding the bottom end (sub-bass and Bass), of which he needed to open it, tamper with it by adding deadning mats to be able to get the bass a bit better....so does it worth all this hassle for a out of the box supposedly basshead headphone?! again maybe the patch we all bought at first sale (although was higher in price) was defective as the reviews of RBH and even the new rebranded Urbanfun are extremely positive everywhere and on Head-fi...but seems no luck here with the MOOH!
Blue78Sorry to hear of your disappointment in the MOOH headphones. Yeah, I would have thought that they'd would be similar-sounding to the RBH model. Before giving up on them, I highly recommend you purchase pair of Brainwavz pads (the standard protein leather oval model, available in many colors, on sale now on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MFDT894) and swap them on. In my experiences with 'pad-rolling', the Brainwavz are always a sure bet, usually improving the comfort and sound (overall clarity and solidity, as well as slightly increased bass) of any headphone. If you desire more substantially more bass (and slightly reduced treble), consider getting Brainwavz' real sheepskin leather pads, which actually 'breathe' better than the protein leather pads.

mattrisAre the angled HM5 a good option soundwise or do you suggest the regular straight ones?
(Edited)
PrutserThanks for the question. As many headphone users are becoming aware, the various properties of earpads (shapes, sizes, materials, etc.) greatly affect the resulting sound. The best pads for you will depend on the sound signature you desire. Without getting too wordy, I'll just say that I no longer recommend Brainwavz' standard (synthetic leather) HM5 pads due to poor air ventilation causing the wearer's ears to get warm after even brief use. Instead, I recommend Brainwavz' Micro Suede Pads (oval). Or if you desire a bit more-spacious sound (with more-intimate) vocals, choose the dark grey velour pads from the brand misodiko (Amazon item B07QWZYTGF). Though, they don't breathe quite as well as the Brainwavz Micro Suede. All this being said, I wouldn't buy these Bluetooth headphones after hearing so many reporting build quality issues. If your in the market for a wired headphone, you can't go wrong with the shockingly-impressive BLON B8 headphones - offered right now on Drop - as long as you plan to pad-swap.
