The universe is governed by the forces of the mind, soul, space, power, time, and reality. These six infinitely powerful pillars of society have helped shape the world as we know it, as well as the wild world of comics Read More
donaguilonIf you're still looking for them, let me know. I have two that I'm not using and would rather they go to a good home. One is orange and the other is green, I believe.
These gem keys are okay. Not my favorite key caps in the world. they seem to sit a bit high compared to others caps but they look good in the dark on lit keys.
I actually like these caps. They seem solid, well made. Their unique and the jewel is very sparkly and the gears are cool. And I like the tiny jewel in the back to resemble a jewel in a watch. Which I don't know if "everyone" on massdrop knows but if a watch states it has any number of jewels in it, it really does have jewels in it. My question is, it looks like it was originally designed for the cap or jewel to open up? I haven't tried it really because I don't want to break it. But was that part of the plan at one time? And 2 tiny suggestions. Glow powder in the epoxy and gears on the inside 2 thicker sides so if they are back lit the will be seen. Otherwise thanks, I'm glad I bought them.
"Based on Infinity Gems from the comic-book universe..." How? The only resemblance to the movie is the coloration. These gems look like they're all factory-default cut gems. What are the gears for? Pricing up? Why are they even underneath the cap? The housing also looks like it was made from cheap 3d-printed plastic =/ call me out if I'm wrong.
Neuron1681The material is epoxy
Gems are very bright to the naked eye
You can't see it in the picture
Can you take a picture of a diamond and see if it looks bright?
The gears are what you seem to be powering for the gem
Some watches also reveal a few gears underneath
Its gears are also invisible on the front
Again, the gems are very bright in the sun
M.7ismeI would appreciate it if you can refine the design further:
1. The exterior casing needs sharper edges to give it well-defined shape. Make it worthy of Thanos' lust.
2. I recommend removing the gears to simplify the product and possibly lower costs.
3. Lastly, I recommend you create a different product altogether with the gears for that steampunk look.
Jino74Thank you for your advice
This style will not change
I'll improve on the next one
This one will never be produced again
These color schemes will not be reproduced later
Honestly, I wish they would have made the internals of this cap more visible. The clockwork aesthetic is just sick and I wish someone would make a cap with the whole "steampunk" clockwurx idea made a reality. They almost had it here. Who is ever going to see the underside of this cap? A waste of hard work and design honestly.
