We spoke to the vendor earlier today. The manufacturer was late in delivering the Machi Koro Deluxe Edition, however the vendor managed to pack individual orders and was ready to ship them out. However before the order were picked-up the vendor was notified that there was a defect for some of the cards included in the game. The manufacturer is overnighted our vendor replacement cards for the ones that did not print properly . The vendor is still trying to get the orders shipped by the end of the day.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/15 or sooner if something comes up.

elimelendezWait a minute. "Some of the packages were shipped Friday" The rest of the orders orders were ready to go but were notified of a defect "just" before they shipped the rest of the orders yesterday. but thankfully the vendor notified them just in time to prevent the cards from shipping out with bad cards. So this notification happened... yesterday? What about those orders that were already shipped? They have the bad cards, can they be returned for good copies? And why was this vendor the only one impacted by defect cards? Since the cards were replaced in the game, am I now expecting to get a game that's been opened already, not one that's shrink wrapped? Something smells fishy.

SeattlejoTo be fair, if it is coming direct from the manufacturer, they are the ones that shrink wrap it in the first place.

SeattlejoTo be fair, I'm glad they are aware of the defective cards and are making sure to pack them in. The defective cards have been known about for weeks and ive seen pictures of the (presumably shrinkwrapped) card taped to the front of the shrinkwrapped tin. Like others, I have a backlog of games to play so I am not complaining about the wait (though communication is poor at best), but I would have been pissed to wait this long and then still not receive the defective cards that I know all the vendors are getting at no cost from the manufacturer.

Seattlejo@Seattlejo The units that were shipped on Friday did pass the quality test check. However if anyone has any problems they should contact community support immediately. They will be happy to help.
As far as the orders that were shipped on Tuesday, they were there was a problem with the "Amusement Park" card. IDW sent along a bonus replacement, so while a defective card will be in the sealed product, a perfectly fine replacement will be included in the overall order.
