I got two mediums and I've been using them for the past month, one for my office and one for weekends out. The medium is a great size for packing for BBQs, picnics, beach, etc. Both have one smooth side and one rougher side, just like as MadDad's, with annoying wood hairs. Perhaps an unfortunate feature of Teak? I treated both boards with Boos block cream and, thereafter, mineral oil as needed. I'll probably try sanding the rough sides when I get a chance...
