This is definitely v2 version, this can be seen from the big copper+silver cable, which is different from v1. This cable is MUCH better quality than v1 cable, but the IEM themselves are the same than v1.
There is still some hiss from sources that are normally considered very black (Opus #1/#1S), but the level is not an issue to me, unless you're listening quiet classical music (piano). The thinner v1 cable was a disaster for hiss.
They have a relatively flat profile with a very slight boost in the vocals area, but it doesn't sound particularly unnatural to me, although I had to boost the bass to really enjoy them. Detail level is very good, because of the flat profile (if you're used to V shaped IEM, you're in for a shock). If you want more smoothness in the upper mid and treble area, replace the cable with a thick pure copper cable, the mmcx connectors make that easy.
The price is good versus Chinese merchants, and the overall built quality is very good.
Due to their flat signature, do not buy if you like strong bass unless you're ready to use the equalizer.

TienbasseI agree with this Hissing problems of Magaosi K5. I am using Lotoo Paw 5000 as my source and I can clearly hear the hissing sound. But when it comes to details and quality of sound it is superb for me since I don't want a really strong bass. Would recommend it to anyone.

TienbasseTo see if they are the V2 you can only look at the color of the outside box. If it is the white one is the old version if it is the black one is the one with the upgraded cable.
