I am also interested in a review from people who have bought this in the past. I would be using it mainly for quilt blocks. Have you noticed a significant difference in how flat your blocks are? Does this stretch the blocks out of shape?

flora516I purchased this about 2 months ago. It works great. The blocks do not stretch as the wool absorbs the heat better than an ironing board cover does. It is like ironing on both sides with a gentle heat coming off the mat. It is actually easier to handle the pressed blocks because they are not overly hot like they get with a regular ironing board cover.

Elsa_KThank you for your reply. I joined the drop!! I have started using the westalee rulers on my domestic sewing machine and I have found that the seams need to be really flat for the foot to go over them without problems. I hope this helps me get my seams super flat!
