Not sure what is left to say about about this board that hasn't been said hundreds of times. The quality-to-dollar ratio is unbeatable. As the cheapest peripheral I own, it still serves as one of the best! Available in a larger keyswitch variety than I've seen from most other keyboard manufacturers, if not all of them. A perfect introduction to the world of small form factor mechanical keyboards.

I don't use this as my primary board, but from the testing I did with it and the light use it gets from time to time is that it's a surprisingly high quality board for the price, and it has a nice layout and size. Considering what I paid for it, it's an absolute steal.

This board is great quality for the price and has become one of my favorite form factors. The black board looks nice with good branding placement and a machined strip along the edge. The OEM caps, as others have noted, use a pretty awful font which I hope they change in the future. I threw a cheap PBT set on and it’s one of my favorite boards I own. MX white are heavy and probably the loudest mechanical switch I’ve used outside of buckling spring, but I love them.

It's exactly what I thought it would be. The typewriter keys take some getting used to, (and I'm currently looking for a normal set to replace them; the letters are wearing off the keys), but there's nothing wrong with them. They're just different.
Keyboard function is perfect, and construction seems solid. Using the function row takes some getting used to, but I so rarely used the F-row anyway that I've transitioned well into the 68-key layout.
Ultimately I really like it.

Today my "K" key does not work anymore. I havent spilled anything on it so i'm not sure why/how it broke.
It did last me almost 3 years now so I was happy with it while it lasted. However what i'm absolutely not happy with is the shipping cost. Even Aliexpress doesnt cost me as much as Massdrop did to ship to EU.
Now imagine if I had to return my product due to a malfunction the amount of money i'd lose just to getting the keyboard here + customs then to return would be enough to buy this keyboard on Amazon.
great keyboard ( sort of ) but the amount of money i paid to get it was not worth it
SilverSatinI found this to be an objective review, and three years is a long time for that price, and at the end of the day, you have a good point about that potential return process. You deserve at least a thumbs up for objectivity! I think in your situation, I might use that board (after getting a new one, perhaps) to mess around with soldering finally...I like the idea of the 68 layout combined with some moderate dampener and some carbon keys!

Hardware 5/5, software 2/5.
Cheap, compact keyboard but with good quality plastics and original Cherry MX switches. Major downside is bug in firmware causing problems with key combinations with left control. Probably good choice for gamers but I advice this keyboard for typist, especially programmers. Working with this keyboard in many popular IDE's is cumbersome... For typing I recommend TKL like IKBC C87 or some serious compact keyboard without stupid bugs in firmware and better technical support - Vortex is good example - regular firmware updates, alive FB page and they listen their customers. ;)

(This review refers to Magicforce with retro-styled key caps , not the normal version. )
This retro-looking keyboard was a fun concept, but has a critical design flaw not illustrated in the photograph(s): The key caps are not transparent.
There is back lighting, but it's pretty unhelpful in a dark room, as the light reflects off the chrome-like finish on the edge of each key and doesn't actually illuminate the key face. If there's a sequel to this version, I'd suggest the designers make the key caps transparent and remove the shiny chrome.
That said, the fundamentals of the 'board seem good, and it certainly delivers a very compact footprint despite being a full-sized QUERTY. People interested in exploring the Magicforce line up should stick to the normal (non-retro) version.

I have this keyboard for several months now (green switches - typewriter buttons) and it's a keyboard you really need to get used to. I have had green switches before (Ducky Shine 4) and these one's do tend to feel a little 'heavier' or 'harder' to push. Also because this is a 68-key keyboard, the Function key's are on the same button as your numbers which is something you really need to get used to. For example ; if you want access Origin while in-game you will have to use SHIFT + Fn + F1(1) by default. These are small things you only notice once you have it.
Now i really like the keyboard, the details are quiet nice. There is only one major thing i find a shame. There is a white lightning on the KB with the light just behind the buttons. It does give a nice effect BUT the light itself does not provide any better vision assistance to see the letters. On the contrary it might even disrupt your vision because of the chrome rings around each button, the lightning reflects in that part right into your eye's if you try to look and see. Even though the brightness can be adjusted (this is more of a personal feeling)
Ofcourse this is only a 'big' issue if you work/game/.. at night or with your lights out.
Now about the typewriter key-cap's. It is something i had to get used to. I felt like i had less button space to type. This might be because this has round buttons instead of square. They look awesome and do feel very nice and solid but it can throw you offguard while (trying to) typing fast.
That aside i would recommend it. If you want a nice looking keyboard that does not take a lot of space (these are really small keyboards compared to a Ducky Shine or Corsair K95) than you will be more than happy with this buy!
First 2 pictures are comparison with my previous KB and in the last picture you can see the reflection. You can see still see the letters very good but irl it will be more blurry feeling.

Received the keyboard after 2weeks of using it, keyboard started glitching my ASWD and tab weren’t working properly especially when you are gaming. Tried to return but they won’t accept returns. Worse experience with customer service and brand

Cool design but key caps are too small which quickly becomes a handicap in getting normal typing speed
