Shockingly overpriced, brutally unattractive! Other than that...

At least the colors distract from the converter...

I'm guessing that was the sole purpose; camouflage!

Can be a hard starter and tends stop flowing. Seems like a good fine. Using Monteverde Aqua. Choosey on clairefontaine and other better paper, can handle cheaper paper.

I'm all for marketing, but if you want an India-manufactured pen with a German nib, I'd recommend looking at Peyton Street Pens. I have the ebonite Capitola which is an amazing pen and a great deal. Plus you can get a custom ground Jowo nib (like a cursive italic) for less than this one. Which will also accept standard international cartridges. Just saying....

PSP also repurposes vintage nibs on Indian Ebonite barrels. I got one at a show with Waterman 100 year nib. Love it!

What nib does this come with? I dont think Bock has BB nibs, and I got the BB. I really want the stylized nib that is shown in the image...

1: No way for me to know. Depends on what they have in stock, I guess. 2: Bock may not stock BB nibs, but they will make whatever nibs their clients request. For instance, Visconti nibs are made by Bock, but you won't find any mention of Palladium or Chromium nibs on Bock's website.

The minimum number of nibs that MC would have to get for each grind is about 5000 if they want a special logo on the nib. Just check with Slyvia... So I'm assuming it would have the standard Bock logo. Shame. The logo on this is actually really nice. Will update conversation if im proven wrong (man I hope im wrong).

The converter seems to be compatible with those not-quite-international ones from Jinhao, which can be found on eBay for a ~$1 a bunch. Here's an example.

Don't think so. The nipple on the Jinhao converters are much shorter than usual. There might be a decent connection, but without a screw/threads on the converter, I wouldn't trust it. This (MC Wave) converter reminds me of the converters that you get with the Kaweco Perkeo. Not quire SI, but, yeah.. I lost my train of thought.

Might be metal, might be painted plastic. Hard to tell. But will definitely update once I get the pen in my hands.

Oh I see. Yes, I’m interested to know for sure! Also your overall impression of the pen. Thank you!

Does anyone know if this is truly a "proprietary" cart/convertor? Pic 5 looks suspiciously like an international, although it could be different diameter or overall different length. Thanks.

Nib has nothing to do with their choice of converter. Proprietary converter Is a major turn off.

I think the nib is gorgeous too— maybe worth the prop cart hassle at this price-point??
