There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. HA--that's exactly why I did't check their site! Not surprised to hear it though, and what with the higher price for the 15" sleeve and lower price and popularity of 13" MacBooks, I can see why MD chose the version they did. I've been using a semi-had plastic Thule Gauntlet case for mine all these years and the first thing I thought of when I saw that nice slab of leather was--great protection for my laptop, but how would I protect all that beautiful leather! My Thule has plenty of nicks and scratches on it, but I can only imagine what a leather cover would look like after all these years--probably bring tears to my eyes!
