I've read good things about these, but the mmcx connectors make me hesitant... I've had nothing but bad experiences with them

RonJamboI bought from linsoul and it actually came with 2 pins (Both picture and description was mmcx)

leady53Really? BGGAR noted the mmcx connectors as a negative in his review. I have a hard time believing they are manufacturing it with both connector types.

RonJamboI was checking taobao, where it originally came from. Apparently the original seller takes request to make 2 pins version as well. (Below is my tea)

AlbertAngI haven't had a lot of time with them but so far it sounds more bright. It has really good clarity and instrumental separation. Bass is on the tame side but I'm really liking it so far.

rrussotwoI think mmcx came out to alleviate tension on the connection point, which it does. It rotates to lessen stress on the connector, but that movement can cause loose connection issues. I've experienced connection problems with several iems with mmcx, so I try to avoid it.

leady53It would be great if mine comes with the 2 pin connection, but the MMCX connection is shown in the Drop photos. Hopefully it should be okay, since I don’t usually change out cables much.

AlbertAngI would call it more of a mid forward IEM. The imaging is superb but the mids can get fatiguing at higher volume with some songs. The sub bass is probably the best I've heard in an IEM. The midbass is thinner, though it seems to get better with time. Not a big believer in burn-in but some have said that it does make these better and I'm starting to agree. Overall I think the Mangird Tea is better than any IEM I have heard in this price range, but it is not the ultimate all-rounder that you can relax with for hours. It will reward you most of the time but spank you sometimes.

DeepSpaceusInteresting. What other headphones do you have? So I can guess if our taste is similar.
I ended up with Moondrop Blessing 2 - mainly because it's more established in market.
It's Harman neutral but i still found it slightly bright and i wish mid is more forward.
The resolution is amazing though.

RonJamboSometimes it helps to take a utility knife blade to the mmcx connector to fix the connection. On the metal ring that spins there should be a gap running lengthwise. Slip the blade into the gap and spread it open a little. It'll take up the slack and stiffen the connection.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?
I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?
Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
