Having problems. So I'm having trouble with my Mangrid Tea. I've ran them off a headphone jack and I've ran them more commonly off my Qudelix amp. The thing is they sound terrible, its like I'm listening in a bathroom, trying the different ear tips. They sound worse then the other two in ear headphones I've used. The Sound of the NuForce EDC was great but they fell apart after several months then sent me EDC3 which eventually fell apart as well after several months and had popping sound issues unless listening to the lowest of levels. Before I go any further I was hoping someone would have advice to improve quality. How has the Tea earned such good reviews and just sound so terrible with music. I have to figure I'm doing something wrong. Why do these thing sound so terrible? For comparison I'm very pleased with: SENNHEISER PC37X Which sound fantastic and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 are even a good comparison. But my Beyer sound far FAR better when it comes to music and sound not quite like the Sennheisers but pretty much a great experience.

ASpathaSo in an attempt to get further help with these. An event really makes me think there is possibly something wrong with these headphones. Listening to Korn Blind, the first 45 seconds. Most of the intermittent guitar playing is completely absent. So are some of the channels completely missing? I duplicated the exact setup using my Beyerdynamic, the song sounds normal that way but swapping out the Teas same trash sound missing stuff.

ASpathaYour Teas might be out of phase. Try inverting the cable on one side. If that doesn’t work, reverse the process on the same side. Then try inverting the cable on the other side. GL
