has anybody has any experience using this as an edc camera and laptop bag?

Lefibonaccimy last few bags have been Manhattan Portage. they make decent laptop/camera bags. The Focus backpack, which they have had several drops for, is great for this.
As far as this messenger, without knowing which size it is I cannot speculate. The Grand Army comes in small medium and large. And I think also an extra small. I'm kinda hoping this is the smaller version, as I need a less bulky day bag for commuting. The Focus scrunches down a bit smaller, but can still be too much on a weekday morning when you are cheek to jowl with the cubicle dwelling hordes.

CalaverasgrandeThanks for the response. I am primarily looking for a side pack/"messenger" bag which could carry my 13" MacBook Pro, a notebook or two, and my camera. Would you be able to make a recommendation for this? Thanks again.
