I can't believe after all that, and all this, and all of $3600 bills ($4500 REGULAR)... that they put the headphones outputs on the back of the damn thing... Seriously?! One of the main features on the design of a HEADPHONE Amplifier should be the convenience of being able to plug in and and swap Headphones easily. Anyone spending this much on an amplifier is 1000% guaranteed to have multiple pairs of Headphones... Manley... What kind of drugs are you on?!?

manleylabsFrom what I read it was more a choice to do it to keep the front clear and there were no other limiting design factors or power/noise factors that prevented it from being near the front. I still think that's a poor choice for a Headphone Amplifier.. maybe not for a normal stereo amplifier that you generally hook up the speakers and leave it for a long time. In the same manner, all of the I/O on my regular Stereo Amplifier for my TV is on the rear, but it is never convenient to pull it out, spin around and start to change cables, then put back to normal so it looks presentable again. One reason why even those have a 1/4" Jack on the front of the unit. With a piece like this, one would be buying it hugely for the aesthetics and how it can add to the appearance of a nice audio set up (visually)... but then to have to constantly pull it out and spin around, getting finger prints all over the unit, and trying to re-position it to where it looks attractive/clean again, all just to change to a different headphone to listen to a different type of music on a daily basis will quickly become tiring and annoying. I think it would be wise to consider easier accessible ports for the headphone jacks in the future. Whether it is somewhere on the front, or on the top of the front like the Tor Audio Amplifiers - that would be more inviting IMHO. But, you cant please everyone as you said.

manleylabsIf I had the disposable income available for this, it would be an attractive unit to showcase in the home that's for sure. I am sure people who do have the excess cash to afford one will be quite happy with it. It's nice to see a company being active on here and actually responding to some of the comments, would be nice to have more companies doing that so kudos to you.

akmjolnir... using a Bluetooth transmitter on a near $4000 amplifier?? Are you on drugs? Anyone buying this will most definitely want to use the headphones wired and balanced. ALSO, this is a Tube amplifier... I am pretty damn sure that transmitting the signal over bluetooth (digital) will ruin the Tube sound... Heck no.

akmjolnirHmmm. I figured someone with you're discerning intelligent wouldn't need the /s at the end, but in case you're still confused: whoosh

Muscle_CowWell, jokes on you. What you thought is the front is actually the back and what you thought is the back is actually the front. Who's on drugs now?
